The Barrier of Thorns is a full-length play, a modern re-telling of the classic fairy tale Sleeping Beauty.

Set in medieval lands, a troupe of traveling circus performers encounter a woodland creature who offers to help fulfill desires. Once the pact is made the troupe finds itself confined within an unnatural barrier of thorns with no way out. Left to their own devices, the troupe quickly slides into a depraved state. As darkness descends, does any hope of rescue remain?
